Clone Wars for youngsters

Star Wars:Clone wars cartoon series - Which episodes are appropriate for a 5 year old Star Wars enthusiast?
We started watching the Clone Wars cartoon series, but a few episodes were too intense for a 5 year old. I'd like to avoid episodes where people are killed/injured. I'd like to also to avoid Jar-Jar episodes, as these are appropriate for no one.
Short of previewing each episode, is there any resource that would give this level for plot synopsis/parental warning?

Best answer: While the episode guide at starwars.com doesn't discuss levels of violence, it does include a synopsis of each episode and many details that could help you decide which to watch, or to avoid.

I think that really depends on what you consider to be appropriate for your five-year-old. I've seen the first half-dozen or so episodes and wouldn't mind showing any of them to a younger audience. And as I recall, they do tend to run to ongoing story arcs, so skipping episodes here and there might not be something you can get past the radar.
Your best bet is just to pre-screen.

Seconding prescreening.
But I'd argue the Jar Jar point. I think the writers and directors of this series handle the embarrassment of his character and the battle droids pretty well. Like the audience, they seem to not like those characters either and they use them creatively. For example, the Clone Troopers don't like having Jar Jar around them and they can't get into a dangerous area, so they agree to send in Senator Binks. They almost snicker.
I've argued that Jar Jar can be used at least as well as the Ewoks. Annoying, but entertaining. Lucas can't think this way...
One recent episode featured a Clone Trooper getting cut in half by a door slamming shut, I thought it was done very artistically and while surprising, very respectful of a younger audience. 5 is too young, but maybe more suited for a 10 year old...
As I type this out, I'm wondering if mefites think Star Wars and Empire are okay for a 5 year old? I mean... Luke's Aunt and Uncle... Leia and Han Solo are tortured... Metaphor Darth Vader gets his head cut off... Pile of dead Jawas... Severed arms... Porkins catching fire... ?
