A small, portable video screen that plays one clip?

Is there such a thing as a tiny single-use video player, relatively cheap?

I'm making a multimedia installation project and I'm looking for a small box with a screen that will play a single video clip, and which can be mounted or hung in multiple ways - ie stuck to a wall, hung on a tree with string, etc. To be clear, this is a piece of hardware, not a software player. I was thinking something like the size of a Chumby screen or smaller, whose only function is to play a single video clip when touched/button pressed (maybe the video is loaded via flash drive or something - I dunno). Chumbies aren't exactly cheap, and I need about 30 of these little screens.

Does something like this exist, or will I have to wait for someone to invent it?

What's the budget here? Dealextreme has a 7" LCD frame that can play video for less than $40 shipped. Click on the "Buy 3+ or more" tab and the price drops to $35.95 if you buy 10 or more, so that would be $1078.50 total for 30. Not exactly pocket change, but it depends on what your budget is.
