Show me the fire

What bars in New York City have campfires or fireplaces?

When I go out to drink and socialize, I like to sit by a fire. It's my thing.

In Brooklyn, I know of two places that have fires: the outdoor one at Union Pool, and the indoor fireplace at Union Hall.

There is also one at Roberta's in Bushwick, but it's by these tables where you have to be eating a meal, so it's a little more 'formal' than what I'm looking for, which is a place where you can

Surely there must be more?

Looking for a list of bars where people can socialize around a fire in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens.

The Clover Club in Brooklyn has a fireplace in the back room. The backroom is open if there isn't a private event scheduled for it. Also, I'm not sure if the fire is always on...it might be a seasonal thing.

Response by poster: Also, to clarify one more thing: I prefer open, outdoor fires instead of indoor fireplaces, so if you guys recommend a place, can you specify whether it's indoor or outdoor?

Molly Malone's, which I guess is just called Molly's these days, at 23rd and 3rd, has a very cozy indoor fireplace (and great Shepherd's Pie) but only on cold winter days.

Iona on Grand in Williamsburg has an outdoor fire in the backyard. I had a thread in my email about this (confined to Williamsburg) from a couple months ago and the places mentioned in it that haven't already been cited in this thread are:

Daddy's
Le Barricou
Bar Celona

But if I had to guess I'd say these are mostly inside, because I can't remember being in outdoor space at these joints?
