Where to find quality loafer socks?

Where can I find high-quality loafer/completely-no-show socks?
I have a bunch from Journey's, but they seem to be made primarily out of hopes and dreams. I'd like just regular cotton or micro-fiber loafer socks to achieve the no-sock look. Bonus points for brick-and-mortar stores in the Milwaukee area.

Put This On had a post about this a while back. They list a few options.

GoldToe are pretty good. I also remember Banana Republic selling them, but they may be a seasonal item.
I bought mine at a regular but regional department store, but the GoldToe line at least should be carried by any Macy's or JC Penney.

Johnston & Murphy (the shoe people) sells what you want. Try the retail store in Glendale or the factory outlet store in Pleasant Prairie.
