What movie is this from?

I vaguely recall a scene from a movie where an apartment building raises and lowers to let people off/on at the ground floor. I'm thinking it was a comedy. Does anyone know what movie this was in?

Best answer: Wasn't that an episode of Futurama? The Beast with a Billion Backs, I think.

There was an episode of Rocko's Modern Life where something similar happened. Ed Bighead keeps getting promoted and his office at Conglomo keeps rising (like, he moves to a higher floor, but his whole office moves). Then at the end he gets demoted and his office plummets back to the ground floor.

Perhaps not what you're looking for, but Dark City had a scene where the Matrix-like world is reshaped by the aliens, with buildings changing size, shape and appearance, including raising and lowering.

I'm pretty sure this was in a Darkwing Duck episode too, but I'm having a hard time finding out which one. There were several examples of "reversed" technologies in the episode including an inflated rubber road which was driven on by vehicles with cement tires.
