What's the best way to donate a timeshare?

Does anyone have any good advice/experience for donating a timeshare?
My wife and I have managed to acquire 3 timeshares (two were given to us) and would like to get rid of them. Selling them seems to be mostly a waste of time, so we'd rather just donate them to a charity. Most of the info I see seems to revolve around Donate for a Cause. Does anyone have any info about them?
