The gay baby-adopting policeman couple Officers Carter and Taylor in Arrested Development's Hand to God episode were as lulzy as the rest of the show, but not played for any more lulz than anyone else.

Carlo the soldier in Captain Corelli's Mandolin falls in love with the Captain and saves his life.
In Peckinpah's Cross of Iron there's a scene where Stransky, the sadist CO first flirts with, then blackmails Treibig, one of his junior officers with his own homosexuality.
And "camp" roles played for ambiguous queer comedy, including inevitable drag, were a central staple of post-war British military comedy, along with the other standard stereotypes (upper class boor officers, shouting-bullying-moustached Sergeants-Major, bald glasses-wearing boffins, business-shrewd Jews, token blacks/Indians, Frenchy French, slapstick Nazis, and so on). It Ain't Half Hot Here Mum, Dads Army and 'Allo 'Allo are classics of the genre, all with effeminate/queer/camp roles.

Henry "Doc/Scylla" Levy (Roy Scheider) and Peter Janeway (William Devane) are a couple in Marathon Man. It's very subtle in the movie but clearer in the book.
And like most of the people mentioned so far, aren't in uniform.
