How can I find out who the MLB home run leaders were on April 29, 2003?
Best answer: Retrosheet.
ML leaders for 4/29/2003. Repeated for pretty much any day you desire.

Response by poster: Hmmm... there seem to be some discrepancies here.
For example, the second link says Alfonso Soriano had 9 HRs, as does this site, while the first link says 8 HRs.

The ESPN April page only seems to shows April, 2003 (like if you change it to May it's only May's, it's not *through* that month), while Soriano's first HR of the 2003 season happened March 31.

Response by poster: Retrosheet is very good, but I'd like to see more than the top four, if possible.

baseball-reference.com has tools for doing searches like this, I believe. I've never used them, though.
