What time will it be in Bishkek when it's 3:45am in Ouagadougou?

I frequently need to schedule phone calls across multiple international time zones. Can you recommend an online meeting planner or world clock with a pleasant Web 2.0-style interface? All the ones Google throws up have ugly design, clunky menus, pop-up ads, buggy java-based clocks and other olde-webbe annoyances. I use them every day and they drive me mad. Surely there's a modern alternative that's clean, fast and functional?

I swear by Timescroller on my iPod touch. I too have struggled to find something online that provides a good interface.

Best answer: There's Every Time Zone.

I use Timeanddate.com for all my international time and date needs, including the Meeting Planner function. I find the interface reasonably useable and functional. I note on the Meeting Planner page that they have a new iPhone app too.

Timescroller also has a nice Mac OS X desktop widget, for those who are interested. Been using if for a while now and it works perfectly.

2nding Timeanddate's meeting planner - if you mangle the link it gives you slightly removing the day, month and year parameters then it will give you the times for today (example) - handy to have in your browser favourites.

Google Calendar finally (FINALLY) supports setting individual timezones for events as well.

Response by poster: Thanks, all. Every Time Zone is just the kind of thing I've been looking for. I hope it comes out of beta soon, it would be even better if it had a wider range of locations and a customisable home page.

I have just discovered Schedule Once and I'm in love. Everyone individually chooses their time zones and marks their own available dates and hours, the site spits out the best meeting times. No logins required.
