How do I stop Twitter from hijacking keyboard shortcuts in Firefox?

On the Twitter site, some or possibly all of Firefox's keyboard shortcuts to open up menus (such as Alt-F to open the File menu) do not work. How can I stop Twitter from doing this, or from being able to do it?

If it matters, Firefox for Windows.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, that's really annoying. I couldn't figure out the magic JavaScript bullet to disable Twitter from usurping control of Alt-F, but I did find this list of keyboard shortcuts for Twitter. It won't solve the problem but will tell you which keys are being hijacked, and might help you use Twitter a little more efficiently.

Best answer: Try this: Tap alt, release it, then tap F.

Response by poster: That worked! Alt-F does not, but Alt, release, F does. Thank you!
