A heartmelting story about a girl and a goldfish

A year or two back I saw the most pure-hearted movie about all the tragedy and joy of a little girl's quest to buy a goldfish. It took place in an Islamic country and the movie was in that country's language...I don't think it was Arabic but it could have been. I really really want to show the movie to my husband, but I don't know its name. Help me, MeFi!

You're welcome. I remembered that it was iranian, which made the google search trivial.
Its available here, or here, btw.

If you like White Balloon, Children of Heaven is also excellent. It's about two kids who have to share a pair of running shoes.

Also Where Is the Friend's House?, one of the best movies about kids I've ever seen. All the adventure and poetry of the Odyssey in the course of one elementary-school kid's journey to try to return a friend's notebook.
