How can I set up automatic weekly posts to Facebook?

I plan to do a daily photo blog on a site such as Tumblr or Flickr. I'd like automatic updates posted to my Facebook profile on a weekly basis, instead of every time I upload a new photo. Is there a way to automate this? I'm guessing it will involve RSS. Totally willing to use a 3rd party app/widget/site.

Tumblr has a queue function that lets you upload a bunch of photos and have them added daily ("or more often) to your blog until they're all done. Is this what you are after?

Use Hootsuite: www.hootsuite.com

It lets you create an account that is linked to your social networking accounts (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) so you can schedule posts in advance, to be published on the day/time you choose. I use it at work to post daily messages to our Twitter feed, so I can schedule them once at the beginning of the week and not have to worry about it every day.

You might be able to use yahoo pipes to do this. I'm not an excerpt on using pipes so can't offer advice. The service allows you to manipulate rss feeds and might be able to do it.

Response by poster: @Bonobothegreat - Sort of, but I'd have to tell Tumblr to queue each post, and I'd rather that bit be automatic. I have a feeling that's the problem I'd run into with @LaurenIpsum's suggestion as well. I will look into Yahoo Pipes though, thanks @Msbrauer.
