What font is this?

I was wondering if anyone could identify the font used for the "reprise" records vintage logo I have this album and I've tried using tools like "what the font" etc. but I just can't seem to find one that matches exactly. Any suggestions on something similar?

Best answer: That's Century Expanded italic: http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/adobe/century-expanded/italic/

Enjoy!

Not quite (the p descender is longer in the font), though it's probably the closest digital match.

it's likely that they just shortened the p descender to make the word fit within that color box.
beautiful font! i'll take it.
