How do I find in hardcore fantasy baseball leagues to join in my area (Dallas)?

I am looking to join a fantasy baseball league in Dallas that is a keeper league, that drafts minor league prospects, etc. I am not looking for a free online league or anything like that, but something that is deeply involved and where other owners are serious about it, the type of league that holds its own winter meetings, etc.

I haven't the faintest idea, but have you tried asking this question at Lone Star Ball? That's a large site for Texas Rangers fans and many of them--by virtue of the team's location, of course--are in the D/FW area.

There are some fantasy-baseball message boards out there (fantasybaseballcafe.com is one) where people (many of whom are serious players) put out invitations for leagues, and look for leagues to join. Read up on what those look like, and you'll probably find some people by posting there.

I tend to see a lot of things like "5x5, full universe, serious players only". Seems easy enough to add to yours, "keeper, minor prospects, live draft, local to D/FW only".

Another place online to check might be the Baseball Think Factory forum on fantasy baseball.

Woah fireoyster, are you a fellow LSBer?

That said I doubt you will find many serious keepers on LSB...me mail me, I may be able to help some but not with a local league fwiw...
