Canadian Law School Scholarships

What scholarships are available to students entering a Canadian law school in September 2011?

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any law school or general scholarships aside from what is already available within universities themselves (e.g. on their websites or in their budgets.) In other words, I've already taken a look at in-house and entrance scholarships, and was hoping that someone would know another place to look. Thank you!

Current Canadian 1L here...which is why I'm awake at this ungodly hour over Christmas break, but that's another story.

Regardless, I've found that the big determining factor for finding scholarships is what jurisdiction you're in and what jurisdiction the law school is in, so it's tough to provide specifics. I've had a lot of luck with finding scholarships through my student assistance program - so OSAP or whatever - and through just emailing the student financial office at my law school. There are websites out there that can help: ScholarshipsCanada isn't bad, but it's very undergrad-focused; and if you haven't seen lawstudents.ca, it's worth checking out. Beyond that, there's not a lot.

The one pleasant surprise I've had in law school, though, is that the school really does seem invested in making sure that students are able to afford the program. Contact them first and see what they can put you in touch with. And feel free to drop me a line if you've got any questions.
