Amazon Universal Wish List Woes

Why is my Amazon Universal Wish List add-on opening a new tab in Firefox?
I installed the Firefox Add-On that puts a button for the Amazon Universal Wish List in my toolbar in Firefox. When I click the button to add a product to my wish list, I get a pop-up window from Amazon and I have to 1. Choose the list I want to add to (I only have one list, my "Wish List") and then when I click "Add to List," my Amazon wish list opens in a new tab and I have to confirm adding the product to the list there.
I have the same add-on on my work computer (Macbook Pros, OS X etc. running latest everything in both places) and it works much more smoothly: Click button, Amazon pop-up comes up with my "wish list" pre-selected, I click "Add to list" and I get a confirmation pop-up without leaving the page I'm on or opening a new tab.
I've tried disabling pop-up blockers, disabling other add-ons etc. and I can't seem to make my home experience work. Any ideas?

Huh. I have the same issue, and I just thought that was how the extension works. Win7 here, with Firefox 3.6.13.

Response by poster: Thanks, misha. I changed my home settings to save cookies/third-party extensions and now the add-on works.
