Political convention demographics

This is for a research project. I am looking for information on visitors to republican and democratic national conventions in 2008. 1. What share of *out of town travelers* to minn and Denver were male? 2. What share were married of those male travelers? 3. If not that convention, then can this info be collected for any other major political convention? And source this if possible.

Best answer: I suggest you contact the visitors and conventions bureaus in the cities of interest and ask them. There may also be stats from the Republican and Democratic parties on the numbers of male and female delegates. I realize you are asking about visitors at large, but you may have to take what you can get.
