____ it to me.

I'm running out of my supply of the only socks that have ever worked for me, and I do not know what brand they are. Hours wasted on google. Do you recognize these?

I can't stand thick socks or socks that require the use of your hands for removal.

Because of these standards, the socks in question are the only ones that I've ever been able to wear happily.

The pics are a little fuzzy. I know this sounds weird, but I don't suppose you could scan them and post those pics?

Also, can you tell us where you used to buy them?

If it's the type of sock (rather than the brand) that you're looking for, those look like either "no show" socks or "low cut" socks.

Impossible to tell exactly what brand those are, but they look like fairly generic no-show socks to me. Check out K-Mart or Walmart. They have a pretty big selection of basic socks.

I've gotten no-show or really low ankle socks at target. I can't find them online but the brand is pro-spirit or pro-sport or something like that. I have some that have a . .grippy portion? . .in the middle of the foot. The picture of the sock you showed seems to have a contracted bit in the middle; if that is what you're looking for, Target's the place.

Response by poster: thanks.
I used to go KMart/Wal-Mart for sock runs, and my partner got me some at the GAP once.
The only other place we may have picked them up is Urban Outfitters. I have checked the current inventory for all of those.

I do not have a scanner; I tried video, but it doesn't de-fuzz the view.

It appears to be the C9 by Champion® Mens Banded No Show Sock - Black (6-12).

I got some socks like that at Old Navy once.

The best thin low cut socks like this are DeFeet Aireators. You can get them at most bike shops.

I'm going to second pineapple's answer. I get them at Target regularly.

You're a man, right? My male friend (big guy, size 10-11 feet) swears by thin, low-rise ankle sport socks that are made for women, instead of men's, because women's socks are thin and smooth-fitting on a male foot; they won't bunch up or ride down.
He wears these ones; maybe something to try if your search doesn't yield results.

My husband has these socks. He would have either bought them at Champion Sportswear or Wal-mart, we live in the middle of nowhere and have no other options.

Is there any stitching on the bottom to definitively identify the brand?

But, but... how do you remove them??? You use your other foot?

Indeed I do. :)

I've gotten socks like that at REI. Probably more expensive than WalMart/KMart (and more likely to be made of wicking material), but might work if you're desperate.
