Summer College Courses

How can I search for which local colleges offer specific courses that I want to take this summer?

I am about to major in Engineering and Public Policy at my university. But I transferred just now (at the end of my Freshman year). I was hoping to catch up by taking courses in a college in NYC this summer. Is there an easy way to see what colleges offer what and when?

Well, here in Portland, anyhow, every college has its own web site, and every web site features class schedules for the current term and the upcoming term. I'm sure that New York's schools are similar. Just get a list of New York colleges, google them, and check out the on-line course catalogs.

What I think you're really asking, though, is for some sort of centralized repository of this information. I'm not sure that one exists.

I know this doesn't help you specifically, but it may help those who throw up this thread in a Google search:

Hotcourses is a fairly decent list of educational courses in the UK.

Thomson Peterson, the publishers of those large college guides, has a neat website which offers several types of searches.

You might also try a site specific search for a class name, i.e. Mechanical Engineering, using only the .edu domain filter. For example: mechanical+engineering "New York City" site:.edu

Yeah, so that didn't work at all. Here is the link I was trying to do.
