Help Embedding .asx in Quicktime

I have a .asx online radio stream that I'd like to embed on a Wordpress page for people to listen to. I've been able to get it streaming with an embedded Windows Media Player, but I'm hoping to have a Mac alternative. Ideas?
I've tried to embed Quicktime but I'm not sure if the code I'm using (which I'm getting through Wordpress plugin Quicktime Embed) is correct.
Can I even embed .asx in Quicktime? If not, is there a way to convert the .asx file to something Quicktime compatible?

Post the contents of the .asx playlist (should just be a text file). You may be able to create from it an M3U or PLS file that would be compatible across many players.

Hmm...since that's WMA-in-ASF I think you're out of luck unless Quicktime plugins like Flip4Mac or similar add the ability to parse all the playlist stuff and not just decode the audio. Does the station have any other streaming formats available?

Response by poster: No, that's all that we have. It's a super-small station that we've set up through SpacialAudio.

If that's the case, both SimpleCast and SAM should let you encode as MP3. Problem Solved!
