High Speed choices in South Africa (Capetown) - really Simon's Town.

Friend of mine needs high speed in Simon's town - let's say at least over 1mb up/down. He's going to be living in Simon's town for 2-3 months starting in Jan. He's willing to travel into town or a hotel for access, but would rather have it at where he's staying. Right now the speed is ADSL (about 386kb)

$200/month is okay. $2000? No so much? Ideas?

For just 2/3 months you might as well use 3G via the cell Networks. Check out www.mtn.co.za or www.vodacom.co.za or www.cellc.co.za for more info on their data packages.

Response by poster: Is the 3G going to be a solid 1mb? Aren't there other choices? Speed is important...
