Indie game name

I am looking for the name of an indie game in which the protagonist falls from the moon (?) and tries to return to his girlfriend by collecting jewels and jumping.

The opening scene I am remembering is the protagonist sitting with his girlfriend looking up at the stars. He somehow falls down to earth and has to return. I am remembering the name of the game as sounding like Seculus, but a google search returns nothing of relevance.

Astal? The protagonist is initially chained to the moon, he escapes and falls to earth in order to rescue his girlfriend, and a lot of the gameplay revolves around jewels (the enemies are made out of them). It also has the artistic sensibilities of an indie game -- it reminded me a lot of Braid. It's an older game, made for the Sega Saturn, but it's possible you saw it on the Wii Virtual Console or something like that.

Response by poster: Nope. It was an internet distributed game from a few years ago. It is probable that I ran across it on metafilter.
