Who was the WJR radio doc?

CBS News Radio, ~30 years ago. A medical doctor did a regular column. What was his name?

Long long ago, I used to listen to news radio, when I lived in Michigan. I listened to the then CBS news station, WJR, out of Detroit. I think it was national, but it's not impossible this column (maybe 5 minute segment) was just in Detroit (or independently syndicated). I want to find an example recording of the man's voice. It has struck me that my doctor here in Switzerland, has the same voice, only with a Swiss accent.

Best answer: If it was indeed CBS Radio, it very likely could have been Dr. Steven Andrew Davis and his 'Speaking of Health' reports.

Response by poster: I don't think that's the same guy. His Wiki entry mention nothing of WJR or CBS, and his show isn't the short concept 'column' which was common on CBS in those days. But thanks, he's an interesting character.

Response by poster: Gee Randy, that's dandy! I think you have the right guy. Sounds right, looks about right. Looking now for a sample of his voice, to confirm.
