Lost Song Flyer--"I want to hear a symphony."

This is incredibly vague, but metafilter is equally helpful for stuff like this! I heard a song with a male singer and the chorus was something like "I want to hear a symphony" and then how he wanted more out of life or a relationship.

I don't want to lead you down the wrong rabbit hole, but it sounded a little like a dancey version of Keane or Coldplay. I was in Ulta Beauty when it was playing, if that helps. Thanks, guys!

Though it doesn't mention a symphony, your description reminded me of I'm Not Satisfied by Fine Young Cannibals. It's very dancey and it talks about wanting more out of life.

eh, this isn't very dancey so it's probably not it, but male singer + "symphony" + beauty store background music = maybe Lonely No More?

Probably a long shot, but it isn't Bittersweet Symphony, is it?

No mention of a symphony, but perhaps Misery by Maroon 5?

Response by poster: WHOA! First shot! Thank you, threeants! Thank you! I came out of the store remembering the chorus, and all I was left with was "symphony." Youtube search brought me actual symphonies, and google didn't hit it. Thanks! threeants > google!

Thanks for the other suggestions/guesses, too, guys!
