Where can I find live bluegrass music in the DC/Baltimore/Annapolis area?
Not so much looking for a festival but more a bar-type atmosphere with live music.

The Birchmere in Alexandria VA is perhaps the premiere bluegrass club in the country. Worth the trip.

We just walked by Tiffany Tavern in Old Town Alexandria. Didn't go in but people looked like they were having fun, and there's no cover charge.

Bluegrasscountry.org has great streaming programs and is an offshoot of WAMU, based in DC. Their program Bluegrass Beat has info on local shows and events, and they post calendars of upcoming events, like this one.
The Lucketts Community Center, in an old schoolhouse in Leesburg, hosts several bluegrass performances every month.

Seconding the Birchmere, it is fab. You missed the (amazing) old-time banjo festival they had over the summer, but they often have bluegrass-type shows.

The place to check for bluegrass schedules in general is the bulletin board for the Ray Davis Show.
