Response by poster: Tower has Mac 15 FO, but I'd really like some Ardbeg... I may have to get out to BevMo? Is there no good stores downtown?

Best answer: Corti Brothers is the closest. I assuming that they have a nice selection. I don't shop there too often. 56(?) and Folsom.

Best answer: Actually, maybe Taylor's Market. That is closer.

A&P on 21st and K might have what you're looking for, but I somewhat doubt it. They seem to have the best liquor selection in midtown (if you don't count the Safeways). Other than that, Taylor's or Corti Brothers sounds like it would be the closest. And if that doesn't work, Bevmo (closest one is in Natomas off of Truxel).

Response by poster: The sad thing is I went to Taylors on an related quest, even calling ahead to verify they had a specialty item that I needed. When I got there I was so mad that they did not, in fact, have the specialty item I had called ahead and verified with a manager that they carried and had in stock, that I left to go to a (farther away) Safeway. I didn't even notice they had a liquor section. I'll give them another shot next time I'm up that way... perhaps they can redeem themselves. I always prefer to support the local guy. Especially in a town like Sacramento.

I ended up settling for the Mac 15 @ Tower. Thanks all.
