Help me find a Maker Faire vendor?
I was at the NYC Maker Faire Saturday, saw some really nice blank books made using vintage books as bindings, but got distracted (LOUD! FIRE!) and didn't go back. I'd like to get a few as gifts, but can't get back to the Faire today. Anyone know who they are? They were in the northeast corner of the Craftacular vendor area.

Best answer: Could one of these be it? I know they both do Blank Books. Odd Man Out sounds most likely - their etsy website is down while they're at the Faire, but I think they'll be back up tomorrow.

If you don't manage to find the vendor you saw, a lot of people make nice vintage-bound blank books like that. (I've seen them at an event in San Francisco, a Mefi Secret Santa got me a great one from Vermont, and I considered making my own after I learned how in bookbinding class...) Here are a couple more I found on Etsy: openbooks and renovatedbooks.
