Beautiful Chiptune Music?

I really love the music that Penny Arcade TV uses and stuff like the music in this video.

What are some other examples of really good emotional chiptune music?

(Bonus question, any other good emotional instrumental songs that sound similar which may not be chiptune).

You might like Jake Kaufman, aka virt, aka MetaFilter's jake. (He's one of the guys on Kind of Bloop.) Here's my favorite track.

8-Bit Jesus if you're into Christmas songs.

Dark Side of the Moon.

(Meanwhile, was that entire map beaten out one block at a time? Jesus.)

There's a whole free album of Weezer chiptune covers. You can probably follow on the individual bands from there.

My personal favorite in the 'emotional chiptune' range is Wax Stag, aka Rob Lee, who makes beautiful and breezy chiptune stuff that's soaring and yet sometimes slightly melancholy:

"And How"
"Folk Rock"
"Short Road"

Unfortunately, I only know of one self-titled record he put out two years ago. It's classic stuff, though, and worth getting a copy of, particularly since it's in all the usual places (iTunes, Amazon, etc).

Definitely check out MOON8 (the Dark Side of the Moon cover linked above). It's quite an achievement.

Minusbaby, Balun. And they're not my thing, but you might like Crystal Castles.

Much of the work of Alex Mauer.

(As an aside, I am still utterly shocked by the appearance of Balun in anything English-oriented, but I guess it should make sense. From what I can tell since I last heard them, they have gotten a lot better and more interesting. Still, wow, Puerto Rico still doing well on this front I see.)
