Seattle Chinese Restaurant Recommendation needed!

On the hunt for the best place to take an old friend to dinner for *really good* bbq pork fried rice in the general Seattle area. Would like recommendations for the best place both IN the I-District and outside. The pork fried rice is the main target, but am curious about what sort of advice the MeFi community has about good Chinese restaurants in Seattle in general.

The pork-centric Vietnamese food at Green Leaf is really excellent. It's so good that it reminds me of Vietnam in Philadelphia.

In general, my favorite is Seven Stars Pepper for Sichuan food, and Jade Garden for dim sum (but the lines are ridiculous!).

As usual, grouse speaks the truth.

I second both of his recommendations.

Top Gun is my favorite for dim sum, with Jade Garden a close second. (Green Leaf is indeed fantastic, and I've never tried Seven Stars Pepper but hope to remedy that soon.)

Oh, Top Gun is in Factoria, though.

My favorite fried rice--Green Village on 6th down the street from Uwajamaya.
My favorite dim sum place (lots of dim sum pork dishes too)--Harbor City between 7th & 8th on King Street. Get there early for lunch of you will wait in a huge line

This is a secondhand recommendation, but it was from a friend who is native Chinese...she spoke very highly of Chiang's on Lake City Way just south of 80th. Been meaning to try it for myself.

We happened to be running errands near 80th and Lake City this evening, so (inspired by this thread) we decided to give Chiang's a try. We were pretty favorably impressed. It hasn't knocked Seven Stars Pepper out of the number one spot for us, but it's definitely quite good.
