messenger bag organizer

Hi,
I have a Manhattan Portage messenger bag. I've had it since 1996 and it's still in great shape. It's a fairly simple design with one small pocket on the inside. I'm looking for some sort of organizer. Something that can handle all the various wires, earbuds, papers and just general detritus that accumulates. I currently don't carry a laptop but I'm open to any form of organizer.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Timbuk2...I haven't been able to find anything better than this bag.

How big is your bag? Levenger has all sorts of these things, although often not cheap.

I have a Manhattan Portage DJ bag, and I keep meaning to buy one of these things. I haven't had a chance to check if it will fit in my bag, but there must be some variant that is larger/smaller that may work for you.

Haven't tired it but the Snake Charmer from Tom Bihn looks pretty great. I've had luck with their other products. The Freudian Slip is another option.

Do you want to augment the bag, or replace it? I have good luck with different catch-alls such as calculator bags for cords and cables.

Best answer: I have a manhattan portage bag with the same failing. When I want to keep smaller stuff in it, I use this military style pocket organizer from county comm. Only $10.
