Create static link to blog page

I've recently changed my word press theme. I have four static pages on the site with links to them on the top of every page. But when I changed themes, I lost a navigational link to my blog. Now the only way to navigate to my blog from a static page is to click on the name of the blog in the header. This isn't obvious to a user so my question is: how do I create a blog link adjacent to the static page links on the top of every page?

Best answer: It's hard to give precise instructions without knowing the actual theme, but one general way would be to edit the header.php in the theme (or the template for static pages, if it's specific to those pages) and add a home page link as part of the chunk of PHP that fetches the list of static pages and creates the navigational menu.

There's also this custom function which menu-drives it a little more.
