How can I find doggy day care in CA (don't say search the internet!)

Can someone help me find doggy day care in Santa Clarita, CA (yes i already looked on the internet and the chamber of commerce)

Have you tried Craigslist? They're listed under community and under services, like this one.

OK, after actually reading that link, it's a kennel, not day care, but there are more on the lists, at least a start.

Best answer: Start with your vet, and if that bears no fruit try other vets in the area. I run a doggie daycare (in NJ, sorry!) and we have new clients calling all the time based on vet recommendations.

You can try this Pet Sitters International pet sitter search. It is mostly people that come to your house, but there is a doggy day care option.
