Article search - again

I'm looking for an article I read online within the past two years about a group of friends in their late 20s/early 30s who spend the weekend smoking/snorting some drug at a friend's house. I mostly remember the bizarre activities they got involved in and an impromptu trip to Las Vegas in the middle of the weekend.

The drug seemed to give them the ability to focus on specific activities for long periods of time. So in Las Vegas, two of the girls stood on a street corner for hours trying to collect the lyrics to a popular song that they kept hearing from the cars driving by.

I also remember a couple holed up in the tv room at the house, charting or diagramming the characters or events from a TV show. And one guy barricaded himself in another room and watched porn all weekend.

I think these people were living in Colorado and the article seemed to suggest that they were not addicts but young, successful professionals who did this drug recreationally. That being said, they smoked/snorted a lot of whatever it was over the course of the weekend.

I remember the one guy watching a stack of 40 or so porn movies. Alphabetically. If this is the same article, then: I loved that.
