Beauty School Books from the 40s/50s/60s?

Please help me find these beauty school textbooks from the 1940s, 50s, or 60s.

When I was little I found a box of beauty school books (maybe textbooks, maybe at-home guides) in my step-grandmother's attic that I used to love reading through. I lost them ages ago and now I can't remember the name of the books, which was basically the name of the school. It was a set of 3 or 4 books with a hard, white cover that had embossed text that was probably pink. The books contained instructions for applying makeup and nail polish as well as basic etiquette and behavior advice for teenage girls of that era, which could have been anytime from the 1940s to the early 1960s, depending on whether they belonged to my step-grandmother or her daughter, though the moral stuff seemed a lot more 40s-50sish. The name of the school/author was a woman's name, which I think had Nancy or Ann(e) in it. My brain keeps thinking it's Nancy Kay, but that's not right, and it's also definitely not Mary Kay. Any ideas? Please feel free to throw out the names of female beauty gurus from the 1940s to the 60s to get me started!

Response by poster: Thanks, but it's not the Standard Textbook of Cosmetology or Emily Post.
