How do I tighten up an XM Skydock in the cigarette lighter?

My XM Skydock connects to the cigarette lighter for power. It is top heavy and the connection is loose. It flops all over the place. Is there a way to tighten this up so it won't move?

I'd just get a cheapo cig-lighter double adapter with a cable (like this) and use that. Then you can tape/jam/whatever the connection to your heart's content.

how about wrapping black electrical tape around the part that is loose to provide extra thickness.

another safe possibility is a rubber band.
