Examples include: Music by Madonna, Pop by N'Sync, Let's Dance by David Bowie, and Hey Mr. DJ by the Backstreet Boys.

Any rock n' roll about rockin' and a rollin'? Any dance music about dancing? Any hip-hop about the MC's prowess?

There is probably as much, if not more, music with lyrics about music than music without.
