Inexpensive Lodging/Camping in Toronto Area This Summer?

Toronto MeFites: can you help us find inexpensive lodging/camping?

Some friends and I are coming into Toronto over the August 13-15 weekend and we need to find a place to stay that won't break the bank.
We are open to any suggestions, including camping, hotels/motels, B & B's, etc. Our only requirements are basic amenities like washrooms & showers, proximity to Toronto (ideally, within 1 hour driving time), and as inexpensive as possible. Food, TV, Internet are nice extras, but in no way requirements.

We are three adults; no pets, no children, one vehicle.

Any suggestions?

You could stay here or here , or here's a bunch of other alternatives.

Have you tried Airbnb.com? There's seven pages of places for Toronto.

Here's an article in today's New York Times about inexpensive alternatives to hotels, including Airbnb.com: Europe without Hotels. Seems highly recommended.
