Where are my dream shoes?

I'm desperate for this particular pair of shoes, and I can't find it for sale anywhere. Help!

Here is a picture. They are the Pink Studio brand and the style is called "Valonia." I can't find them on ebay or on any of the sites where they're supposedly sold. Could it be that they're just not making them anymore? Oh, say it isn't so!

After a quick search, I couldn't track them down either, but it was a pretty brief search. If I were you, I'd go right to the source and contact the company to see if they're still being produced.

From their website:

E-mail: sales@usafina.com

You can set up an eBay alert to let you know if they come up in the next 6 months. I did this once with a 7-8 year old style, and they eventually showed up on eBay.

What size are you? No, I have not found them yet, but if I do see them somewhere I don't want to break your heart if they only have them in some teeny size or something.

Response by poster: i'm a size 10.

i saw these about a year ago in a local boutique, and they were too pricey so i passed them up. i'm SO kicking myself right now. i guess i could also call the boutique and cry to them about it?

i set up an ebay alert, so thanks for that tip!

Response by poster: oh, if somebody can find shoes that are similar enough... i will probably kiss you. if in fact that is what you want.

Ok, I can't find the ones you linked to, but Steve Madden makes something similar, in grey and black (Prices on that site are half off!).

Similar but crazy expensive:

Similar but in brown.

Or just browse the t-strap page on endless until you see something you like.

Alternately, if you are in Philly I'd call Bus Stop on 4th St or hoof it out to the Nordstrom Rac or the DSW in KOP. I've had great luck with out of season stuff at the DSW.

Response by poster: those maddens are super close... thank you!! i wish they were as amazing as the pink studio shoes, but i guess beggars can't be choosers.

Yeah, I wish the Maddens weren't patent leather, but I like the crinkled look of the black leather. There are also red ones, but every place I looked was sold out.

Also, I am now considering buying these shoes, and it's your fault.

Response by poster: i'm personally now in love with these, and although they aren't like the ones i'm looking for, they are kind of incredible. SIGH.

Timory, those last one's you lust are really nice. BUY them if you like them. Why repeat what you've been going through with the first pair. No kicking yourself allowed. -g

Response by poster: i hesitate because of the price, but you're right, you're right.

The shoes you've linked to remind me a lot of shoes at Anthropologie. My sister has had good luck finding them on super sale at the stores.

Apologies if this is completely off, I don't really know anything about pretty shoes. Just that my sister likes them!

Response by poster: my goal in life is to make an anthropologie store into my closet. i should have posted and askme about how to make that happen.

the UK store Office (has a website, no idea if they ship to the States) did a similar pair recently. The nearest I can find though are these and these.

I think the ruffled t-strap thing came about because of the Chie Mihara Ducaris (at least in part?), but those aren't around anymore either! I guess another thing to ebay-alert for? Or if you have piles of cash, the Teco. Oh... for piles of cash.
