Is there a minimizer bra that has a similar fit and style to the Flexees Easy Up Minimizer Camisole?

My chest to waist ratio leans heavily of the chest side. I've tried dozens of minimizing bras but all of them have had serious issues - uniboobs, awkward bulges, etc. and then I found the flexees easy up camisole. The fit and form is amazing. I can wear button down shirts for the first time in my life without feeling like a porn star and still have two clearly distinct breasts! The problem is its a camisole when all I really need is a bra. Has anyone come across a bra that has a similar fit/form factor?

So you want an underwire minimizer and non-uniboob-creating bra?
Wacoal makes some good ones, but it would help to know what size you need and what bras you've tried that don't satisfy your needs.

Response by poster: I wear a 36DD as measured by the old ladies who accost you with measuring tape the minute you enter the store. I honestly couldn't tell you exactly which bras I've tried. Essentially every six months or so I'll go to the store and try on every minimizer bra they have in my size. My main complaint is that I'm usually squishing out of the top or the sides but if I go into the next size up there is too much room. As far regular bras go I've had the best luck with the Whimsy line by Lunaire.

I've found Fayreform bras to be excellent - flattering fit without being overly cleav-tastic - and they look similar to the camisole you've linked. In particular, I like the Profile Perfect and its slightly more plunging version, the Profile Perfect Alight. They're comfortable, they last, and are super supportive.

The Unbelievabra is fabulous! No uniboob, great for large cup size, and several body sizes. Super comfortable! No going back.

Look at the shortee models for Unbelievabra for the Bra not camisole version.

When you try the bra that has too much room, do you know how to make sure all of the breast tissue is in the bra? Good fitting ladies will show you, but department stores vary a lot.

If you're squishing out it's almost certainly too small, and that could add to the uniboob problem, because you're no longer contained in the cups. Going up a size should not leave that much more room if the bra is already too small for you. I think you probably know that for a woman that is big-breasted, underwire is often necessary to avoid uniboob and other unflattering bra side-effects, but ... I thought I'd mention it?

(I've never had the same problem with minimizers, so I can't really recommend anything... fit is so personal. My favorite minimizer is actually a Lunaire that I got for $10 in the clearance bin.)

I would suggest looking around to see if your town has a specialty lingerie shop. (Not the kind that caters to adult entertainment.) The ladies who work there might be able to help you find the bra you need, and can verify the fit. 36DD isn't an uncommon size, so they should have a lot in stock for you to try. You might want to try one of the brands created for women with larger breasts, like Fantaisie or Freya, but these are expensive and so if you can try them in person it's better.

Response by poster: Both the Profile Perfect and the Unbelievabra look very interesting but they don't seem to be minimizers or are they? I really need something that will minimize my chest like the Flexees does.

Sounds like the DD may need to be bumped up to DDD or in some lines they call DDD an E.
I wear all three of these sizes in different brands. As a 36 DD I mostly find that Wacoal Slimline Seamless Minimizer Bra #fits very well.
HerSpace.com is a great source of bras and has great pics of all views as well as showing how they look under clothes. The customer feedback is great, too.

I also used to wear a 36DD, because that was the biggest non-plus size bra the regular stores carry. I got fitted a year and a half ago at a specialty store and found that I was actually a 32/34 F/G (depending on the designer). My erroneous fit measurement was made by the ladies with the tapes. I was having a lot of the same fit problems you describe. Depending on where you shop, the next size up from 36DD is 38DD, which doesn't help if what you really need is a larger cup and perhaps a smaller band.

I felt like the right-size bras (although not technically minimizers) actually had a visual minimizing effect, in that I am more lifted and supported. It is also A LOT more comfortable.

I know this doesn't directly answer the question you've asked, but I have found with bras that it is all about getting the right size.

Not Her Space, but HerRoom.com. Sorry!

The Unbelievabra is not a minimizer, but immobilizes well within the cups so IMHO you don't look so big. And definitely no uniboob.

oh and also, I find with my Unbelievabra that I can wear tops and button them up with a really smooth look that I just can't with my other bras.
