Help me with my custom search engine.

How do I add new sites to the Google custom search engine that I've created? Strangely, the control panel doesn't give me that option. If this isn't possible, what other tools can I use to specify which sites I want Google to search? This search engine isn't one that I'm publishing; it's for my own use.

Best answer: Well, I didn't even know of Google Custom Search, so thanks for letting me know.

To see if I could help you out and to learn about how it works I set up a custom search limited to ask.metafilter.com, which, on the last screen, gave me the HTML to embed.

I then went back to http://www.google.com/cse/ (the main page) and clicked on "manage your existing custom search engines" (the small link under the enormous "Create a Custom Search Engine" button) which showed me my custom searches (only 1 at this point). I clicked on Control Panel (which I gather you did also) and over on the left navigation list the second link down is Sites. I clicked on that and it let me add/delete sites to the single one I already had under that CSE.

I hope I properly understood your question and that this helps you out.
