Entertain me in lower Manhattan!

I'll be in NYC for a couple of days for a conference, and will be free on Sunday and Monday evenings, starting at about 6 pm. I'm looking for suggestions of stuff to do in the evenings in lower Manhattan (I'm staying at the Downtown Marriott if that helps). So I'd love your suggestions for fun places to eat dinner, have drinks, enjoy dessert, or just stroll around at night for sightseeing or people-watching. I've already checked out these three questions on Ask MeFi, so if there's stuff in there that you think is worth checking out (or should be avoided), let me know. Thanks, NYC MeFites!

PJ Clarke's in the World Financial Center can be kind of an after-work scene on weeknights, but they do have pretty damn good burgers and they're right near your hotel.
You're right on the water in Battery Park so there's a lot of good strolling along the Hudson. It will stay light past 8, assuming you're here in the near future, so that's plenty of time to walk around and see things. Depending on your appetite for walking, you can walk up the west side highway all the way to Chelsea and stroll the High Line, or take a quick train up (A/C/E at WTC/Chambers to 14th st) to see it.
The Financial district can be pretty dead, but almost all of the subways in the city go there, so it is very easy to get pretty much anywhere else and back and you don't have to limit yourself to the immediate area if you don't want to.

We were just at PJ Clark's the other night - the food was wonderful, and the view is gorgeous. If you're a runner, there are lots of folks out there. You might also want to rent a bicycle and bike up the Hudson path.

This Sunday is the NYC Red Bull Air Race if you're into that sort of thing.

Biking up the Hudson river greenway is also an excellent way to spend the afternoon; there are several bike rental places including one in Battery Park.

If you're a fan of quality espresso drinks, the Tamp Tamp Coffee Map is a great guide.
