Please recommend a plumber in Toronto?

I need a plumber to install a shower stick and, erm, fix my bathtub faucet where it burst off and hit me in the shower and I tried to fix it with duct tape and grout and it's totally spraying more water into the wall than out the spout.

I have access to another shower, but it'd be great to get this fixed before the weekend.

Best answer: This is not a direct recommendation, but I've always thought that if I needed one, I'd look here: Dufferin Grove Park Community "local service providers" page.

Looks like it is still active -- a plumber was recommended last week, and several other area residents have also recommended the same guy.

Response by poster: Perfect - just spoke to the recommended plumber from that page and have an appointment. Thanks girlpublisher - you're my hero (^_^)

Best answer: Anyone who ever needs a plumber in town, call Chris Holland of Plumb-It- to Earth Inc at 416-229-2474. He's quick, friendly, did not mock my duct-taped monstrosity, and installed a new showerstick.

I will now spend the weekend in the shower, with beer and my showercat!
