Toronto stroller detailing?

Now that my child is grown out of her Bugaboo stroller, I plan to sell it. Where in Toronto can I have it detailed/serviced?

I am very un-handy, so suggesting I do it myself isn't really an option. I can barely work a can of WD-40. I know a nice detailing will improve the saleability of the stroller. I would pay to have my car cleaned up before I list it, so why should my stroller be any different?

Have you contacted the place where you purchased it? They may be able to recommend something.

Do you have a babysitter? Maybe check if s/he would be willing to take a crack at it. I know that I would have jumped at such an assignment from any of the families I babysat for. Same hourly rate as babysitting, you supply the materials-- I'm guessing de-greaser and lube, which you can find at a bike shop or any large general goods retailer like Target, some kind of detergent for the fabric bits, some rags, some qtips, and a few hours for a really good job.

Failing that, a good bike shop might be able to help, but I would call ahead and ask. Probably not a request they get frequently, but the basic idea is not all the different other than strollers not having chains and having a lot more fabric.

Have you talked to the guy who details your car? It may seem out-of-the-ordinary... but it would probably be an easy task for a detailer, who already has all the cleaning supplies and such on hand.

In Toronto if you post your bugaboo on Craigslist or Kijiji you will likely have a bidding war on your hands within hours of the posting. I don't think anything you do besides cleaning off the dirt is going to affect the price in a positive way.
I would remove the fabric & wash it, wipe down the wheels. Otherwise, I don't think anything anyone will do to it will help at all.
Too bad I bought a stroller this weekend, or I would have bought yours.

Agree with nprigoda. I also doubt that the money you would spend on detailing/maintenance would boost the price by enough to be worth the hassle. As long as it looks clean and you mention that you've washed/bleached the relevant bits, you will be able to offload it pretty easily online.

Also I would recommend checking with whoever told you that detailing a stroller is a regular thing - honestly, I hadn't heard of it until I read your question.

One other quick suggestion, suitable for an unhandy person: You could buy a can of compressed air to clean cookie crumbs (or whatever) out from the little nooks.
