Do you know a good furniture store in San Francisco?

Can you recommend a good furniture store in San Francisco where I can find well-made dining room furniture (specifically a buffet/sideboard/credenza) in a "classic" style?

I need a buffet for my dining room, to store china in and serve food on top of. I live in San Francisco, but I'm willing to drive to Marin, the East Bay, or down the peninsula to find a good store. Searching online for potential places in San Francisco has been pretty overwhelming. It can be hard to figure out if places even sell the type of stuff I want and some of those that might have terrible reviews on Yelp. Others have great pieces but at incredibly high prices. I'm open to buying used furniture, but again I don't really know where to start.

What I don't want is "modern" or real antique stuff that looks like it belongs in a castle, nor do I want cheap/poorly-made stuff. This is a perfect example of what I want, but $8200 is probably six or seven times more than I want to pay.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

McCarney's Furniture in SOMA might be too antiquey for you, but it's a nice store with reasonable prices.

Gump's, a San Francisco institution. Well-made furniture that'll last you a lifetime and then some. Judging by your link, I think you'd like their stuff.

In Berkely is Fenton MacLaren. They carry a mix of vintage furniture and their own line that is Mission inspired. Hardwoods, local, etc. I drive by there once a week or so and they are having some major sales going on.

The furniture stores (some vintage, some not) on Valencia between 16th and 19th Streets have some of what you're looking for. I'm hoping another SFian will chime in with store names, but you could look on Google Maps.
