Please show me exactly how hairs are removed by "threading"

How exactly are hairs removed via threading? Looking for detailed close-up photos or diagrams if possible -- or is that knowledge a trade secret?

Lots of info available online about hair removal by threading, but details are sketchy -- don't understand how the thread can be wrapped tightly enough around a single hair -- or especially, a line of hairs.

have you had threading done or tried it yourself? It's essentially twisting a looped thread and then using that twist in the thread to tangle up hairs and yank them.

Have you watched videos on threading? This one kind of shows you how exactly it works. (Watch from 06:55)

I think a nice experiment you can do to quickly gain an understanding of how this works is to take a rubberband and stretch it between your hands (or have a "friend" do this). Rapidly roll the rubberband back and forth over your hairy arm or leg.
While it may not be as effective I think you'll quickly find it very instructive.

Old fashioned ripped-the-heck-out-of-your-skin.

This You Tube video made sense to me.
