This weekend in Ireland

Fun things to do in Ireland this weekend?
I've just found I need to be in Dublin this week for work and I plan to stay for the extended Bank Holiday weekend. Just wondering if anyone knows of some cool music, festivals or events this weekend. Not just in Dublin, but anywhere in Ireland. I'd like to get out of Dublin for sure.
I'd like to avoid renting a car, so ideally somewhere I could get to by train.
I have to be in Limerick by Tuesday morning for work as well.
Thanks for your help. Should be great!

The Blues on the Bay festival in Warrenpoint is on from the 27th May to the 31st May. It would be pretty easy for you to get the train to Newry then a short bus trip to Warrenpoint.

The Temple Bar always has live music.
Cork has one of the best open meat markets in the world
I have always likes Dublin best though, but I'm a city dweller

Seeing as you say that, there is a good market in Belfast on Fridays and Saturdays in St George's Market.

Yeah, Monday's NOT a Bank Holiday here. Ours is the next week.

I ask because the June bank holiday weekend is not this weekend, but the weekend after, June Bank Holiday being Monday 7th June.
In any event, this site is good for Dublin events. the Taste of Dublin event in the Iveagh Gardens in central dublin can be a lovely afternoon out if the sun is shining...
