Teddy Bear's Picnic weirdness?

Does anyone else recall a creepy version of the Teddy Bear's picnic from the 80's? (it was a cartoon) I think I may have seen it on Nickelodeon.
I remember being a little kid and getting the heebies from it. I remember it not being cutesy, and now that I'm older maybe a little bit in the Edward Gorey style? If it's out there and I am remembering it correctly, could anyone help me find it? Thanks!

Best answer: Did it use the Henry Hall (of "Here Comes the Boogeyman" — think end credits to Jeepers Creepers) vocals?

I don't know about the cartoon but I had to throw away our copy of the book since I was totally creeped out by the story and the drawings. Maybe the book was enough to creep you out, too.

I remember an 80's cartoon special, which I was able to find on Youtube (here). Pretty cutesy though.

Response by poster: Yes, I just listened to the Henry Hall version of Teddy Bear Picnic and that is exactly how I remember it sounding!

I was about to ask if it was the Tiny Toons take on it, but that was early 90's. Huh. Now I'm stumped too.

I remember the one PercussivePaul linked to. And I watched a ton of Nickelodeon.

This creepy version is from the 1980's BBC serial The Singing Detective that later aired in the US on PBS's Mystery! which opens with Edward Gorey animation. Maybe your mind is crossing the two?

Response by poster: I think it must have been what paulg said or as Pollomacho said-I think my mind might be crossing two different things together.
