Things to do in Fredricton (and Saint John)?

What are some fun and inexpensive things to do in Fredricton or Saint John?

My girlfriend and I will be spending 2 nights in each of these cities. We're visiting a friend for her wedding and have a few days to spend around. Neither of us have had a vacation in a while and we're up for basically anything.

If you're bikers, most of the trails around are fantastic. Here's a link. I do the Lincoln trail 2-3 times a week, and it actually keeps going as the Trans-Canada Trail out to and beyond Oromocto (although I stop there). A bunch of places you can rent bikes (I will plug Radical Edge, they've done a lot of work on my bike)

If you're here mid-June or later, I've heard fantastic things about King's Landing, and I'm not at all biased because a close friend is working there.

When are you coming, exactly? Here is a list of festivals.

The Beaverbrook Art Gallery is nice (I've only been once, and didn't really get to explore since it was a meet-and-greet blahfest, but they've got some amazing works there).

If you're in Freddie on a Saturday, it might be worth checking out the farmer's market. Week before last there was some neat choir - older folks, guy with an accordion, women in long skirts and not-quite-point white hats (not similar to the other pointy white hatted people you may think of, I can't really describe it).

The Playhouse often has nice shows, and they've never been that expensive (except for Jesus Christ Superstar, but hey).

That should be a start. I'm in town pretty all summer, drop me a line if you need anything.
Sorry I can't help with Saint John, I'll ask some friends and see if they have any ideas. I hear there's a really nice coffee shop, but know no more.

If you're in Fredericton on a Saturday morning the market is cool.

Saint John has a zoo.
