It's a pretty good song!

I'm trying to identify a song which has the main lyric of "chocolate kisses". Unsure of pretty much any other detail.

A long time ago some friends and I were driving through upstate New York, and we had the radio on scan, since we didn't know any local stations. A song came on that had the main lyric of "chocolate kisses in my mouth", and sounded sort of old (it had like a ragtime feel to it, but that's not authoritative by any means).

We've tried to find it since then with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not an exact match for the lyrics, but your description makes me think of Ice Cream by Sarah McLachlan.

This doesn't really have a "ragtime feel", but maybe?

Do I Do by Stevie Wonder
Chorus:
Yes I got some candy kisses for your lips
Yes I got some honey suckle chocolate dripping kisses full of love for you
Yes I got some candy kisses for your lips
Yes I got some honey suckle chocolate dripping kisses full of love for you

Do you recall if it had a male or female vocalist? That, and other similar details (a long time ago? how long ago?) would help rule out a good swath of possibilities.

Best answer: I bet it's "Chocolate Man" by Guy Davis. "I've got chocolate kisses, get 'em from me while you can..." He's a NY bluesman, a contemporary musician, but DEFINITELY an old-time feel like what you're describing... so a good shot he'd be on a college radio station or something like that in Upstate NY... here it is on YouTube... hope this is it!
