How do I fix the color on my smart board?

When I use my smart board to display what is on the computer monitor the colors are "off".

Something will appear yellow on my monitor but on the smart board it's a greenish color. This happens when it's something I created with the notebook software and on power point presentations.

Is this the nature of the beast or can it be corrected?

if your board has an on-screen menu, you should be able to adjust hue and color balance, probably under a heading like "picture". Sounds like you'll just need to tweak those a bit. But don't expect an exact match, sometimes you can only just get it in the ballpark. But the colors should at least look related.
